“You must think we’re equal!”
Jesus is Lord whether you believe it or not, know it or not, and like it or not! And, the time is coming when every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all! (Read about Modern-day Idolatry in our lives. “Rise Up and Walk!”) |
I readdress this topic because Christians need to be reminded and encouraged that Jesus is supreme! He is supreme whether people believe it or not, know it or not, and like it or not. The masses today — young and old, Christians and non-Christians — are full of themselves, vice the Word of God. Their reasoning, logic, conclusions, interpretations, beliefs, philosophies, experiences, and emotions are, in a word, godless. This is devastating and deadly to their souls and ultimately our culture. Quite frequently, I have conversations with folks who present a similar theme that “all beliefs, lifestyles and truth-claims are equal.” Today more than ever, when presented with biblical truths, these people – friends, family, congregants, strangers, old, young, etc. – respond quickly and proudly with their personal beliefs, ideologies, experiences, and conclusions about God and life. (And honestly, the more they ramble on, the more they reveal their ignorance, their immaturity, and the shallowness of their knowledge of God. One young man, so smug and conceited, proudly and arrogantly shared his primitive views about why Jesus couldn’t possibly be “the only way” because, as he put it, “What about other cultures? What about people who’ve never heard of Jesus? People-groups around the world are different and have a right to believe what their heritage has taught them. They can’t all be wrong…” and so on. I tried to reel him into deeper thought and exchange. I told him, “You’re the kind I like to engage because you’ve given this god-stuff some thought, but you do have knowledge gaps. I’d like to take you to lunch – my treat – because I can present answers to your questions.” I asked him if he was open to more info. He haughtily responded, “Are you open?!! Can I share my info with you and could you receive from me?!!” I flatly told him, “Ahhh… I see your problem. You’re really very close-minded because you don’t want to change. However, your biggest problem right now is that you think we’re equal.” (LOL! His mouth was open and he stared at me in disbelief.) I proceeded, “Oh, did that offend you? Your face just fell. Shock, pride, and rebellion have taken over your face.” (Yes, I said this.) Another young man, and another a similar conversation later that week in the Friday Sxxual Integrity class: a self-professed atheist proposed that his views on sxx are equal to what I had been sharing from the Bible. I immediately asked him, “Are we equal?” Without much thought, he quickly and pompously said yes. The immediate conversation went something like this: Me: Okay, so how long have you been on island? Him: Two years. Me: What was your rank? Him: Corporal. Me: Let’s say a new, young Marine, fresh out of MOS school, just checked into your unit. You’ve been put in charge of teaching him and showing him the ropes. Are you two equal? Him (bloated): No! Of course not! Me: Why? Him: Because I’ve been here longer, and I know more than him. Me: Let that sink in. (Haha!) I tell all these people, “We are not equal!” I explain. “I’m fifty-eight. I’ve been married over thirty-four years, raised three daughters, successfully got them through college, with honors. I served twenty-two years in the Marine Corps – to include a combat tour in the middle-east. I’ve been retired ten times longer than you’ve been in the Corps. I’ve been volunteering my time in the Brig since before you were even born. I’ve been an ordained missionary for over twelve years, been pastoring and teaching for almost twenty years (Lol! That’s over 2,900 sermons and 900k hours). I’ve spent countless hours in prayer, in counseling, and in crisis. I have over a thousand books in my library, all of which I’ve read. I’ve planted about a dozen various ministries. I’ve baptized, married, and buried many souls. By faith, I’ve walked and talked with God and I’ve experienced His unspeakable deliverance, direction, salvation, and love. Any wisdom I have comes from Him.” Since I have their full attention, I proceed. “Let’s further test this ‘we are all equal’ claim.” I pose questions like: ▪Is a PFC equal to a SgtMaj? (Not equal!) ▪Is a 2dLt equal to a Colonel? (Not equal!) ▪Is a child equal to their parent? (Not equal! FYI: Children shouldn’t be allowed to call their parents by their first name. For the same reason, congregants should not be on a first name basis with their Pastors. Message me if you have questions.) ▪Is a student equal to a Teacher? (Not equal!) ▪Is an employee equal to their employer? (Not equal!) ▪Is a citizen equal to a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO)? (Not equal! I already know some of you are butt-hurt by this one, but that LEO has been given authority over citizens. And for good reason.) ▪Are personal truth-claims equal to the Bible? (Not equal!) ▪Are your personal beliefs equal to the the Bible ? (Not equal!) ▪Is your personal lifestyle equal to the Bible? (Not equal!) ▪Is milk-based Christianity equal to meat-based Christianity? (Not equal! FYI: Read Heb 5:11-14) ▪Are indifferent, passive Christians equal to engaged, hands-on Christians? (Not equal! Baby Christians – of all ages – are my biggest critics and challenges. Read “Got Milk?”) ▪Are Christians that only read about history equal to Christians that read and make history? (Not equal!) ▪Are milk-based churches equal to meat-based churches? (Not equal!) ▪Are other nations equal to America? (Not equal! ) (This list can go on.) Bottom line here: All beliefs, lifestyles, and truth-claims are not equal! The Word of God is the only true measuring stick for all beliefs and morality. Given to us by God, the Bible is our “fixed point of reference.” (Read “Who moved the muffler?!!”) The Scriptures are true whether people believe them or not, know them or not, and like them or not. When Christians yield this position of supremacy, it’s an indicator of their immaturity and infantilism, it’s a form of bastardization, and deconstruction is the result. (Read “Bastards and the Removal of Statues and Flags”) ▪Isaiah 3:1-5 The Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, will take away from Jerusalem and Judah everything they depend on: every bit of bread and every drop of water, (vs.2) all their heroes and soldiers, judges and prophets, fortune-tellers and elders, (vs.3) army officers and high officials, advisers, skilled craftsmen, and astrologers. (vs.4) I will make boys their leaders, and toddlers their rulers. (vs.5) People will oppress each other – man against man, neighbor against neighbor. Young people will insult their elders, and vulgar people will sneer at the honorable. ▪Ecc 10:16 Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, and your princes feast in the morning! (ESV) ▪Gal 4:1 Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had. (NLT) Regardless of how these conversations begin to close, I leave them with the million-dollar point and question: “Everyone sins and all sins have to be paid for. Who’s gonna pay for yours? Does your lifestyle, beliefs, or truth-claims provide an answer to this dilemma?” Only Jesus can save us from our sins. So, call upon Christ for salvation while He is near! ▪Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. ▪Isaiah 55:6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near. – Make a Donation |
The masses profess to be Christians, yet these same people support endorse, promote, and defend twisted, godless, and sinful beliefs and policies. (Read “By What Authority Do You Speak?” – “By what authority do you speak?” |
The “Fix Bayonets” drills (Role-playing – Christians vs. Critics) produce much Kingdom fruit! A little uncomfortable at first, the more you participate and practice, the quicker you learn how to present the Word of God, vice your opinions and feelings. Very powerful! (Read about my confrontation with an educated Christian who said he didn’t need to read the Bible because God speaks to him directly. – “Hey! I have been looking for you!!!”) |
Killie, our pet of fifteen years, passed just a few weeks ago. Of course the family is devastated because we loved her so much. We were fortunate enough to be with her as she took her last breaths. Please pray for us as we’re asking God to provide another kitten (or kittens – Lol!) for us. (Read “The grace of God is bigger than my ____?”) |
Agree with us in Prayer a. For the Brig/Prison: Pray for all the souls (the leaders, the inmates, the guards, and their families). A sort of strangling of ministry has been occurring over the past year. Our time has been shortened, our hour has been moved, requests for baptisms have been restricted to be conducted within the given hour only, and access to RHU (Restrictive Housing Unit – Segregation/Isolation/Solitary) has been canceled. Also, an appreciation certificate that we gave the Brig three years ago, which had been on display on their trophy case, mysteriously disappeared. I immediately inquired about it, a search was conducted, but no one knows what happened to the certificate. All the other non-Christian certificates have not been tampered with. Regardless, I asked if they’d like a replacement certificate and they said yes. FYI: in the midst of our regathering and rebuilding in the Brig, nearly every prisoner came out to the last class. To God be all the glory! So, please join us in binding demonic spirits of discord, hate, religion, bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, and pride. And loose a spirit of salvation, discipleship, forgiveness, humility, exposure, healing, deliverance, peace, restoration, unity, and cooperation! b. For continued increase at ZCDC (Churchplant). Pray for the weekly rebuilding and gathering in the midst of COVID restrictions and other opposition. Pray for my strength, wisdom, and resources as we gather new souls on Camp Schwab. We are called to gather sheep and convert goats. Pray for mature, Qualified Families and Permanent Personnel to co-labor with us in this northern-most, remote area of Okinawa. c. For Zebulun Worship Team. To God be all the glory! We have a lead singer, but pray for the releasing of prophetic, powerful praise and worship. d. For our Believers to walk in increased discernment, wisdom, maturity, power, and works, that they are properly discipled, and that they bear much Kingdom fruit, now! e. Pray against retaliatory, unclean spirits from On-Base and Off-Base. Bind up demonic spirits of control, division, envy, strife, competition, lust, and fear. And loose a spirit of unity, peace, love, maturity, discipleship, and faith among Believers. f. For our current schedule (finances, resources, wisdom, strategies, and strength): – Sun: Share/Report Christians In Action ministries – Mon: Radical & Relevant (R&R) @7pm – Wed: Brig Christian Fellowship (BCF) @7pm – Thu: Publish Think On These Things Newsletters – Thu: Publish YouTube Videos (Channel: YahwehHasASon) – Fri: Sexual Integrity & Restoration (SIR) @9am – Sat: Zebulun Christian Discipleship Center (ZCDC) @6pm – See Facebook Live Ministerial Videos – Make a Donation |
In closing… Saints, please forgive me for my lapse in newsletters and updates. We’ve been preoccupied with escalating attacks and retaliations. Honestly, it’s been distracting, draining, depressing, and discouraging. We’ve been overwhelmed and, consequently, weary. However, in the midst of these battles, Sandy and I have had to remember a few things: 1. My favorite scripture: Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2. And 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (vs.10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Summation: The greater our sufferings, the greater our glory. Also, when we are weak, then He is strong for us. Being persecuted and overwhelmed then, is a great place to be because His strength is made perfect in our weakness. He is our Deliverer and our Anchor. So honestly, we press on. Kingdom fruit is still harvested every week. About 95% of all the prisoners are attending again, there’s godly increase at Zebulun and R&R as we make disciples, and we even led a young lady (through her tears) to Christ last night, just before R&R and she will be baptized this weekend! (Glory to God!) Disciples are being made, emboldened, and confronting ungodliness in their communities. As such, God’s Kingdom is being advanced! We continue to covet your prayers as they are vital and empowering. Also, we ask that you consider partnering with us in these ministries with monetary donations and support.
