WE MAKE DISCIPLES. Our purpose at Zebulun Christian Discipleship Center is to promptly raise up disciples of Christ, and to properly respond to the world’s increasing confusion, pain, and death. Within an expedited window of time, Pastor Nick Guerra’s catch-and-release style ministry trains a new generation of believers in the Word of God and sends them back out into the world prepared to give an answer for their newfound faith in Christ. ZCDC is not “church like normal,” but rather, a training ground.

From the streets to the chapels of Okinawa, from prisons to impoverished cities across Asia, and from screens across the world, Pastor Nick’s BowDownFoo is a diverse ministry. Derived from Snoop Dogg’s old-school lyricism, “bow down fool ,” this ministry is death-row gone Holy; a plea to kneel before the Lord of all. This ministry exists to make disciples quickly and to send them out as laborers for the kingdom. Despite lawsuits, expenses, protester neighbors, and cancelled chapel access, Pastor Nick and his wife persevere as living proof that faith and action becomes lives eternally changed.

About Pastor Nick & Sandy – Bowdownfoo Ministries

Pastor Nick & Sandy

Nick and Sandy Guerra married in 1986, having raised 3 beautiful daughters, and celebrating 37 years of covenant faithfulness. Nick Guerra is a retired Marine with 22 years of service including a tour of combat. In 1998, when Nick arrived in Japan, something in the air changed. It wasn’t the humidity. It was a holy wind; a call to surrender.

Born again in 1990, Pastor Nick had spent 8 years in lukewarm faith. However, his arrival in Okinawa changed that. Throwing away cares and distractions, he surrendered fully; and God fastened everything into place. With urgency, WE MAKE DISCIPLES became his charge as a bond servant of Christ.

Pastor Sandy Guerra has been at Pastor Nick’s side through decades of marriage and ministry. Together, they founded Bowdownfoo Ministry as a Christian discipleship center in Okinawa: a training ground where souls are captured as they are, and released as a new creation, equipped to make disciples who make disciples.

Their Ministry: Discipleship, Family, and Faithful Steps

Bowdownfoo Ministries focuses on:

  • Fatherhood & Family: Honoring dads as spiritual leaders (because fathers give!).
