I’m constantly burdened with the reminder that America continues on her path of confusion, waywardness, and greater darkness. In my travels throughout the US over the last twenty years, one word continues to describe what I see and feel – Godless.
Less God. This is the fundamental reason for any people’s downfall. The symptoms are plain enough to see – sin, flesh, lawlessness, pain, confusion, etc. – but the root cause of all our problems is godlessness.
– 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. (vs.2) For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. (vs.3) They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. (vs.4) They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. (vs.5) They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!” (NLT)
The solution is more God!
– 2 Timothy 4:2-5 “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. (vs.3) For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. (vs.4) They will reject the truth and chase after myths. (vs.5) But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.” (NLT)
– 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
My challenge to Believers is to consciously, consistently, and purposefully bring God back into every area of our lives — homes, communities, businesses, and government. Here’s a list to provoke more God in every area of our lives:
1. Where is God in that statement?
2. Where is God in that thought?
3. Where is God in that deed?
4. Where is God in that conversation?
5. Where is God in that question?
6. Where is God in that answer?
7. Where is God in that argument?
8. Where is God in that belief, doctrine, and philosophy?
9. Where is God in that observation?
10. Where is God in that hypothesis, logic, rationale, and theory?
11. Where is God in that heart?
12. Where is God in that habit and desire?
13. Where is God in that dream and goal?
14. Where is God in that endeavor and journey?
15. Where is God in that resolution?
16. Where is God in that celebration and accomplishment?
17. Where is God in that moment?
18. Where is God in that joy?
19. Where is God in that promise?
20. Where is God in that crisis? That fear?
21. Where is God in that doubt?
22. Where is God in that anger and jealousy?
23. Where is God in that pain?
24. Where is God in that shame and guilt?
25. Where is God in that envy?
26. Where is God in that unforgiveness?
27. Where is God in that failure?
28. Where is God in that gaze and gawk?
29. Where is God in that stare and glare?
30. Where is God in that vision? That foundation?
31. Where is God in that agreement? That covenant?
32. Where is God in that music? Those lyrics? That rap?
33. Where is God in that poem? That painting?
34. Where is God in that art?
35. Where is God in that movie? That sit-com?
36. Where is God in that commercial? That advertisement?
37. Where is God in that talk show? That news show?
38. Where is God in that book? That magazine?
39. Where is God in that headline? That article?
40. Where is God in that website?
41. Where is God in that social media post?
42. Where is God in that sport?
43. Where is God in Hollywood? That entertainment?
44. Where is God in that joke?
45. Where is God in that relationship?
46. Where is God in that wedding? That marriage?
47. Where is God in that family? That house?
48. Where is God in that neighborhood? That city? That state? That country?
49. Where is God in that government?
50. Where is God in that law? That policy? That rule?
51. Where is God in that school? That club? That organization?
52. Where is God in that business? Those finances?
53. Where is God in your giving? Your taking?
54. Where is God in that church? That sermon? That message?
55. Where is God in that worship service? That prayer?
56. Where is God in that event? That history?
57. Where is God in that holiday? That Christmas?
58. Where is God in that life?
59. Where is God in that year? That month? That week? That day? That hour? That minute?
60. Where is God in that past? That present? That future?
AGREE WITH US IN PRAYER:
a. For the Brig/Prison: I continue to ask God for all the souls in the Brig… even the Guards. Pray for the inmates, guards, and their families. Bind up spirits of bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, and pride. And loose a spirit of salvation, discipleship, forgiveness, exposure, healing, deliverance, peace, and restoration!
b. For continued increase at ZCDC (Churchplant). Pray for mature, qualified families and permanent personnel to co-labor with us in the northern-most, remote area of Okinawa.
c. For Zebulun Worship Team. We need Leaders, Singers, and Musicians.
d. For our Believers, that they walk in increased discernment, wisdom, maturity, power, and that they are properly discipled, and that they bear much Kingdom fruit!
e. Pray against retaliatory, unclean spirits (on base and off base). Bind up demonic spirits of lust, division, strife, envy, competition, and fear. And loose a spirit of unity, peace, love, and faith among Believers.

IN CLOSING…
Saints, thank you for your prayers. They are effective. They are vital. And, they are appreciated.
So, we’re still in “holding our breath mode” as we continue to be confronted with crucial issues and challenges. We continue day-to-day in faith, but our situation is still stressful, overwhelming, and a bit distracting. We still haven’t been approved for our “Religious Visa” and Japanese Driving Licenses. Please be in prayer about this.
Also, the building owner and PM have hired a lawyer to address the rent issues. They still want to double the rent or evict. I continue to tell them that the property is not worth double, but I am willing to negotiate. (FYI: the PM covets my space as he can billet two-hundred US Base protesters @$20 a head, so he’s pretty motivated to see me gone.)
Finally, so many new souls have been attending our various ministries. They require immediate discipleship, guidance, deliverance, and fathering. Please pray for mature, available believers to come and co-labor with us.
