Not long ago, I had back-to-back eerie, vivid, and prophetic dreams. These dreams shook me to my core so much that when I awoke, I had to look around, gather my bearings, and regroup. I was literally shaking.
DREAM 1:
I saw a mob of people angrily protesting the shooting death of a black criminal, by a white police officer. The criminal was literally caught in the act of a vicious crime, yet this horde was rabidly defending him, calling the criminal good, while at the same time calling the good cop evil. The mob was demanding that the good cop be hanged immediately, without a trial.
Suddenly, as if seeing my confusion, a voice from heaven explained by crying out, “Woe to them that call evil good and good evil!” While I recognized that was Isaiah 5:20, the voice urged me to look closer at the frenzied crowd. I began to recognize so many faces. They were my friends and they claimed to be Christians. I was puzzled. The voice answered my unspoken questions with, “In these days, even the very elect will be deceived.” (Mt 24:24)
I asked the voice, “Why is it ‘woe to them’ who call evil good?” The voice said, “Because, when you can’t recognize evil, or refuse to recognize evil for what it is, evil is loosed. When you loose evil, good suffocates.” I clearly saw evil being condoned, endorsed, embraced, encouraged, promoted, permitted, and even protected by law.
I then asked, “Why is it ‘woe to them’ who call good evil?” The voice said, “Because, when you handcuff things like truth, the gospel, morality, peace, safety, protection, and courage, you bind good. When you bind good, evil thrives.” I clearly saw good people – citizens and police, young and old, of all colors – hesitant and reluctant to get involved because it was too risky. As a consequence, crime thrived.
DREAM 2:
I saw, what appeared to be two videos playing simultaneously and overlapped. One video was of the mobs during Christ’s trials and crucifixion, the other video of modern-day mobs and riots. These videos were in-sync and very identical in nature.
I saw multiple modern-day black protests. Again, these protests were very graphic and eerily paralleled the crucifixion of Christ.
The Chief Priests then/Black Leaders today (Sharpton, Jackson, Jakes, Leaders, BLM, Media) moved the people to tumult. (Mt 27:24)
The Chief Priests then/Black Leaders today were only involved for self-interests. (Mk 15:10 NIV)
The Chief Priests then/Black Leaders today stirred the people to yell, “Release Barabbas” (today, “Release an evil, guilty black man!”) and “Crucify Jesus” (today, a good/white cop). (Mk 15:11)
The Chief Priests then/Black Leaders today bullied Pontius Pilate (authorities today were Mayors, Governors, Judges, Congressmen, Senators, The President) with mass gatherings, threats of violence, and increasing hostilities. (Mk 15:1-15)
The Chief Priests then/Black Leaders today encouraged and fueled rage and violence. They were actually using terrorism tactics of threats, fear, and manipulation.
I saw a growing demonic spirit of rebellion on the people, coaxing them and leading them. Demons were emboldened to steal, kill, and destroy. (Jn 10:10)
The people’s disrespect, disregard, and disgust for all authority — earthly and godly — grew rapidly.
Loud Rap music was playing “F@#% the Police!”
As the mob-mentality grew it gained momentum and couldn’t be stopped.
Anarchy and chaos ensued.
This is today. People literally cannot, or will not, discern good from evil. No one seems to know what is right, nor the courage to express it. Individuals, families, churches, Christians, and governments either cannot, or will not, speak against evil, nor defend good. As a result, our societies are nose-diving into greater confusion, loss, and death.
The Divided States of America:
At The US’s inception, the people had to be united. It would’ve been absolutely impossible to stand up such a great nation without agreement. What united them then? What was their common bond? To put it simply, I would submit that our common bond was God — His Son, His Spirit, and His Word. The ideals of freedom, equality, and identity were God-breathed. This is what early Americans agreed upon. This is what united them!
What has divided us? Do I have to state the obvious? Americans — even so-called Christians and Churches — to an enormous degree, have abandoned God. “We have no King,” is how we live! We’re exactly like the people in Judges 21:25 “In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”
When we don’t acknowledge and obey the true and living God, we each must become our own god, become individuals, and serve and worship ourselves. And, within our own selves determine right from wrong. This is the epitome of narcissism. This is godless living. We have ceased acknowledging Christ as King because, “We have no King!”
The Solution:
Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Read that again! “ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS!” This is our common bond. This is our “United!”
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Revelation 7:9-10 “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (vs.10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”
People, I know that times are uncertain and scary. It feels like we’re teetering on complete collapse. Real talk tho’, this confusion and uncertainty is why I cling to Christ even more!
– He’s my rock and salvation! (Ps 62:2)
– He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever! (Heb 13:8)
– He’s the Alpha and the Omega! (Rev 1:8)
