Gen 18:20 GOD continued, “The cries of the victims in Sodom and Gomorrah are deafening; the sin of those cities is immense.”
| Hypothetical: Me, living in the cities of the plain (Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Zoar). As a godly man, I couldn’t be happy in Sodom and Gomorrah. I couldn’t even pretend to be happy. The wickedness, depravity, and sinfulness of that culture would weigh heavily upon me for so many reasons. Factual: Today, Christians and especially Church leaders are trumpeting and celebrating a possible Biden/Harris presidency. How can any Christian be happy with what may come of this? Simple explanation – their excitement, jubilation, and verbose sermons are godless. For a Christian, to support a Biden/Harris presidency is akin to Lot when he “pitched his tent toward Sodom.” (Gen 13:12) To pitch your tent toward Sodom is to choose sin over godliness. In Lot’s case, it was an attempt to get as close to sin without falling. Lot was a godly man (2Pe 2:7-8), but he had catastrophic character flaws and suffered the consequences. We should learn from his mistakes. If you hang around sin long enough it can become normalized and you will get burned. 1 Corinthians 15:33 reads, “Do not be deceived: Bad company ruins good morals.” Social media posts, internet commentaries, news reports and articles, sermons, etc., are riddled with misplaced admiration and gratitude at the, albeit false, grandeur of this “historical moment in American history.” It’s historical, alright, but in an anti-god way. If your church leader is celebrating the Biden/Harris team with primitive, shallow sermons and talking points like, “What a wonderful day this is for America,” and, “The American dream of racial equality is finally evolving,” and, “Finally, some racial justice in our system,” and, “Finally, the gender barrier has been broken,” this is leftist, liberal, progressive ideology, and you’re in a godless church. Run! Because just like cancer, whatever the left touches it kills, e.g., Democrat-run cities, education, news outlets, sports (especially the NFL – Lol!), the institution of marriage, music, Hollywood, etc. I’ve asked these Christian leaders, “What specifically do you support about Harris, other than her being black? What specific policies of hers do you support?” Usually none, so in their defense, they quickly confess that they didn’t vote for either the Republican or Democrat ticket. They attempt to justify not voting for Trump because of character reasons, but that they didn’t vote for Biden/Harris either, which begs the question, “So you immediately, harshly judged Trump’s character, yet dismissed honestly judging Harris’ character and political career?” This isn’t love, or justice, or equality. It’s not even godly. So, why then are you taking such a leap to ignorantly tout a Biden/Harris presidency? Because this is what liberals do and it’s a form of virtue signaling. “Hey! Look at me! I’m woke!” The Simpson’s cartoon character, Ralph Wiggum, comes to mind. Finger in his nose, Ralph the child says, “I’m helping.” (Lol!) Their words and actions are baseless and empty. Their stunts are just for show and their gestures are the equivalent of the Pharisees “sounding trumpets” for attention and personal glory (definitely not for the glory of God) and they store up treasures on earth instead of in heaven. Matthew reads: ▪Mt 6:1-4 “Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. (vs.2) When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do – blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. (vs.3) But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. (vs.4) Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” ▪Mt 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, (vs.20) but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. (vs.21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” The title Social Justice Warrior (SJW) comes to mind. These SJWs take up mostly anti-god battles, and when they are pressed about Harris’ qualifications, they struggle. Their default answer is usually something about her skin color. “Harris will become our nation’s first black woman vice president.” Seriously??? Is that your best reasoning?!! Your response is solely based on skin color! (FYI: To this day, most BO supporters do the same thing.) This is the epitome of racism and you’re the biggest racist, here. Condescending, much? Two points: 1) If you support any of Harris’ radical, extreme leftist, godless policies, you are in blatant danger of heresy. And 2) If your only defense and support of Harris is because “she’s black,” you’re a blatant racist. Also, what Christian would intentionally celebrate and agree with anti-god people and their philosophies? What Christian would overlook blatant, destructive anti-god policies, legislation, laws, words, and efforts? If this is you, God is not in your doctrine, statements, or beliefs. Your liberal/progressive stance is a flagrant rejection of God – His word, His laws, His commandments, His truths. Choosing to align with godless people and sinful policies is akin to King Belshazzar’s licentious, depraved, fleshly, and godless ways. As a church leader, to use holy items designated for temple use – the Church, His Word, His people – in twisted ways, demands you be stripped of your glory. Read Chapter five of the Book of Daniel where the party got out of hand and there came writing on the wall. “Your days are numbered. You’ve been weighed and found wanting. And your kingdom is divided.” Yikes! If you continue to celebrate, endorse, and promote Left/Liberal/Progressive anti-god efforts, you walk in a form of adultery (Ex 20:3; Hos 2:1) and you will be exposed (Jer 13:26). You are intentionally playing the whore, unfaithful and adulterous! The god-fearing prophets of old knew this, and in obedience to God and at great risk to themselves, they shouted warnings to the leaders and the people. ▪Hos 4:4 Don’t point your finger at someone else and try to pass the blame! My complaint, you priests, is with you. (vs.6) My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me. Since you priests refuse to know Me, I refuse to recognize you as My priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. (vs.7) The more priests there are, the more they sin against Me. They have exchanged the glory of God for the shame of idols. ▪Hos 5:1 Hear this, you priests. Pay attention, you leaders of Israel. Listen, you members of the royal family. Judgment has been handed down against you. For you have led the people into a snare by worshiping the idols at Mizpah and Tabor. ▪Hos 6:5 I sent My prophets to cut you to pieces – to slaughter you with My words, with judgments as inescapable as light. ▪Hos 8:4 The people have appointed kings without My consent, and princes without My knowledge. By making idols for themselves from their silver and gold, they have brought about their own destruction. ▪Hos 9:8 The prophet is a watchman over Israel for my God, yet traps are laid for him wherever he goes. He faces hostility even in the house of God. ▪Jeremiah 2:20-24 “Long ago I broke the yoke that oppressed you and tore away the chains of your slavery, but still you said, ‘I will not serve You.’ On every hill and under every green tree, you have prostituted yourselves by bowing down to idols. (vs.21) But I was the One who planted you, choosing a vine of the purest stock – the very best. How did you grow into this corrupt wild vine? (vs.22) No amount of soap or lye can make you clean. I still see the stain of your guilt. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken! (vs.23) “You say, ‘That’s not true! I haven’t worshiped the images of Baal!’ But how can you say that? Go and look in any valley in the land! Face the awful sins you have done. You are like a restless female camel desperately searching for a mate. (vs.24) You are like a wild donkey, sniffing the wind at mating time. Who can restrain her lust? Those who desire her don’t need to search, for she goes running to them! (vs.25) When will you stop running? When will you stop panting after other gods? But you say, ‘Save Your breath. I’m in love with these foreign gods, and I can’t stop loving them now!’ ▪Jer 17:5 This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.” I often challenge Christians to “Honor God with your vote.” Then, as they vote Democrat, I have to ask, “Where is God in your vote?” He’s not. And they can’t explain the disconnect between their vote and the Word of God. Now, we have church leaders trying to justify the possible election of Biden/Harris. These leaders are “neglecting the word of God to serve tables.” (See Acts 6:2) Lol! It’s laughable because even Democrats didn’t vote for Biden. However, be reminded of what scripture says about the last days: ▪2Tim 3:1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. (vs.2) For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, (vs.3) heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, (vs.4) treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (vs.5) having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. ▪Jude 1:17-19 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. (vs.18) They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” (vs.19) It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. Honestly, I can’t help but still feel hope, in that something very big is about to happen. God, absolutely does not do things halfway, and I feel that Trump’s mission from the Lord in only half complete. This man has done more for Christians and the Church in four years than any other US President, all the while fighting Democrats, Republicans, the fake news media, the DOJ, the FBI, lobbyists, Big Tech and social media, and sadly, so-called Christians. God is not finished with Trump. So, let not your hearts be troubled (Jn 14:1). What God has promised, He is also able to perform (Rom 8:21). Now more than ever, the Lord is calling us to faith. When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth? (Lu 18:8) Keep the faith, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts! | Agree with Us in Prayer: a. For the Brig/Prison: Pray for us as we prepare to resume Wednesday night Brig Bible study after enduring impish opposition for the last six months. Now, I’ve been asked to also conduct the Brig Christmas service. In twenty-plus years of brig ministry this is a first, so forgive me, but I am a little suspicious. Pray that God be my discernment as we navigate the next few weeks. Also, pray for all the souls in the Brig — the inmates, the guards, and their families. Bind up spirits of bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, and pride. And loose a spirit of salvation, discipleship, forgiveness, exposure, healing, deliverance, peace, and restoration! As the mid-week Bible studies are about to resume, pray for the re-gathering of the prisoners. b. For continued increase at ZCDC (Churchplant). Pray for Rebuilding and Gathering in the midst of COVID and other opposition. Pray for my strength and wisdom. There are many new souls on Camp Schwab, so pray for the gathering of sheep and the conversion of goats. Schwab is a very unique area with an extreme operational tempo and a high turnover rate. Many service members are here only for a 6-month deployment, so our time together is very short. Try to imagine the challenges of rebuilding a ministry every six months. It’s not for every missionary, but it’s what we do! And, we make disciples! So, pray for mature, Qualified Families and Permanent Personnel to co-labor with us in this northern-most, remote area of Okinawa. c. For Zebulun Worship Team. To God be all the glory! We have a lead singer, but now we’re praying for more singers and musicians. d. For our Believers, that they walk in increased discernment, wisdom, maturity, power, and works, that they are properly discipled, and that they bear much Kingdom fruit! e. Pray against retaliatory, unclean spirits from On-Base and Off-Base. Bind up demonic spirits of control, division, envy, strife, competition, lust, and fear. And loose a spirit of unity, peace, love, maturity, discipleship, and faith among Believers. f. | In closing… Saints, thank you for declaring words of life over us in your prayers. Your petitions before the Lord avails much! We continue to provoke, expose, involve, and immerse! I’ve never been a fan of double-talk, so I try to be pretty direct with folks. Honestly, it’s love that compels me to be candid with folks, so I bring them quickly to that crossroad — the world’s ways or God’s ways.
