A medieval knight surrounded by battle chaos with a caption challenging christians on their participation.

“Sitting this one out???”

The Presidential election is upon us and consequently, I do not exaggerate when I say the direction of our nation hangs in the balance. The contrast between the efforts of Trump and the efforts of the Democratic Party is stark and grave. Neither is perfect, however, overwhelmingly the agenda of the Democrats is godless. I’d even say anti-god. (To my critics and doubters: Prove me wrong using the Word of God.)

Even as I type, much is at stake, so I pray godly discernment over you as you prepare to vote.

▪Hebrews 5:11-14 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. (vs.12) You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. (vs.13) For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. (vs.14) Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong. (NLT)

As Christians, we are commanded to push all things towards Christ! I’ve heard the scoffers yell, “Christians should not be involved in politics!” This is unbiblical. Quickly, here are just a few scriptures for your perusal to understand your God-given responsibility to engage.

▪Ps 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him. (NLT)
▪Mk 16:15 And then He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (NLT)
▪Ac 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (NLT)
▪Mt 24:14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. (NLT)
▪2Ch 7:14 Then if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. (NLT)
▪2Cor 10:4-5 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. (vs.5) We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. (NLT)
▪Pro 14:34 Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people. (NLT)
▪Ps 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (Also Ps 144:15)
▪Job 31:34 Have I feared the crowd or the contempt of the masses, so that I kept quiet and stayed indoors? (NLT)

Every one of these passages calls Believers to represent Truth/Christ to all people, in all places, at all times! As a CHRISTIAN, here’s a cursory list of issues at stake. This list is very personal and important to me. I use it somewhat as a guide when voting.

I believe:
1. The US Constitution is our fixed point of reference, not a “living, breathing document.”
2. In American Exceptionalism. (Don’t apologize or bow for America.)
3. This is a Judeo-Christian nation, FORMED BY the God who has a Son named Jesus. (America was given a mission from God.)
4. In the right to bear arms.
5. In free speech.
6. In a strong alliance with Israel.
7. In small government.
8. In less government spending.
9. In lower taxes. Even a flat-tax.
10. “No term limits.” It’s the citizen’s responsibility to keep politicians accountable, not laws or amendments.
11. Our politicians are extremely overpaid.
12. In Pro-Defense. Peace through Strength!
13. In self-defense. (Personal, Stand Your Ground Laws, and Castle Doctrine)
14. In “Life” not “Choice.” Abortion is murder.
15. Homosexuality is a sin. (God said that. Take it up with Him.)
16. In traditional marriage – one man and one woman. (That’s God’s plan.)
17. In capitalism, competition, and a free- market.
18. “Redistribution of wealth” is a fancy term for coveting, stealing, and jealousy.
19. In our coal industry and fracking.
20. In energy independence. Drill here! Drill now! (Alaska, off our coasts, etc.)
21. “Global Warming/Climate Change” is a bunch of baloney.
22. In welfare reform. (Way too many people are DEPENDENT on gov’t.)
23. In hard work, not handouts. You can never FULLY appreciate something you did not personally work hard for.
24. In “Build the wall!”
25. Illegal immigration is just that, illegal. (Get in line.)
26. English should be made the official language of the USA.
27. In American law, not Sharia law.
28. In conservative Judges (Local, Federal, Circuit, and Supreme Court).
29. Judges should interpret the law, not make law.
30. Defend the Police! (Not “Defund the police.”). Back the Blue.
31. In Voter ID laws.
32. Unions have gotten too big, too powerful, and too corrupt.
33. Big Tech companies (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Youtube, etc.) need to be dismantled.
34. Teachers should be tested. Period!
35. Teachers should teach the course material, NOT their personal or political philosophies. (Fire them if they violate this.)
36. All public schools, from Elementary to University, should allow audio/video recording in the classroom. (Teachers, what do you have to hide?)
37. “BLM” and “White Privilege” are godless ideologies. (Critical Race Theory is godless and destructive.)
38. PBS needs government funding removed.
39. In protecting and preserving our historical statues and landmarks.
40. Americans should be free to display the Confederate Flag.
41. Civil protests not Riots.
42. In the need for strong Men and Fathers. Healthy masculinity!

Believe it, or not, scripture addresses every one of these issues. If you’re genuinely interested in answers, message me and I’ll share my thoughts. I will tell you where to look, but I won’t tell you what to think! My challenge to you:

1. Familiarize yourself with just a few of these topics.
2. Go out and convert one person.
3. Reach out the to elderly – family, friends, neighbors – and help them get to the voting polls.

So much confusion and division in the US. Only Christ and the Word of God can unite us. This is the battle. (Read eerie and unsettling dreams God gave me. “My Two Dreams”)

During an extremely graphic and prophetic vision, the voice of the Lord thundered, “It’s YOUR move!” (Read “It’s your move!”)
Over the past few months, my participation in the “Welcome Aboard Briefs” was disallowed. I was “too offensive” because I asked all the new Marines and Sailors real questions about their faith vs. their actions. The PC police got involved and disinvited me. They’re freakin’ Marines! And they were offended by some statements and challenges???” (Read “Rise Up and Walk!”)
Agree with Us in Prayer:

a. For the Brig/Prison: The Friday Sexual Integrity classes are going great. Very popular and nearly 100% prisoner attendance. Please continue to pray for the Brig Wednesday night bible study of twenty years to resume. New, key personnel have arrived and I am scheduled to meet them soon. Pray for favor!

Pray for all the souls in the Brig — the inmates, the guards, and their families. Bind up spirits of bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, and pride. And loose a spirit of salvation, discipleship, forgiveness, exposure, healing, deliverance, peace, and restoration!

b. For continued increase at ZCDC (Churchplant). Pray for Rebuilding and Re-gathering in the midst of COVID and other opposition. Pray for my strength and wisdom. There are many new souls on Camp Schwab, so pray for the gathering of sheep and the conversion of goats.

Schwab is a very unique area with an extreme operational tempo, and a high turnover rate. Many service members are here only for a 6-month deployment, so our time together is very short. Try to imagine the challenges of rebuilding a ministry every six months. It’s not for every missionary, but it’s what we do! And, we make disciples! So, pray for mature, Qualified Families and Permanent Personnel to co-labor with us in this northern-most, remote area of Okinawa.

c. For Zebulun Worship Team. We need Leaders, Singers, and Musicians.

d. For our Believers, that they walk in increased discernment, wisdom, maturity, power, and works, that they are properly discipled, and that they bear much Kingdom fruit!

e. Pray against retaliatory, unclean spirits from On-Base and Off-Base. Bind up demonic spirits of control, division, envy, strife, competition, lust, and fear. And loose a spirit of unity, peace, love, maturity, discipleship, and faith among Believers.

As a youngin’ I dreamed of, and longed for, a loving wife and a happy marriage. I must admit, that as a youngin’, I didn’t have a clue. (LOL!) Weeks ago, Sandy and I hit our 34-year Anniversary. (Sigh) I’m so happily married. Sandy satisfies me completely and I crave her increasingly. (Watch “I Wanna Be Your Man” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgMGbifjj5I)

In closing…

Saints, please forgive me for my lapse in newsletters. It bothers me greatly to not keep you abreast of the happenings here. Many of you are aware that back in June my heart rate suddenly began spiking from 50-60 BPM to 160-170 BPM). Apparently, this is bad. So I have been seeking medical guidance. Last week I had the ablation on my heart. The procedure went well. I’m a little bruised and sore, but definitely chomping at the bit. We’ll know in three months if a second ablation is necessary, or not. I humbly thank you for your prayers and words of life.

Beloved, we continue to covet your prayers. Your words of faith encourage and empower us. We remain focused on making disciples! We involve! We expose! We provoke! We challenge!

Understandably, my approach and methods are unorthodox and intimidating to many. My response? “If this discipling makes you uncomfortable, then you’re too comfortable!” What Christians discover quickly is their immaturity, impotence, dullness, and ineffectiveness. Yikes! However, as they endure the fire (the exposure, the involvement, the demands) they grow rapidly! This is not an exaggeration. People who go through just 2-3 weeks of our curriculum begin to change. Nearly all of our disciples bear witness that 1) their family and friends back Stateside noticed this change and commented on their boldness, knowledge, and maturity. And 2) these disciples see more clearly the advancing evil darkness in the US and the world.

We make disciples for the glory of God! You can help us. Being full-time missionaries in Japan is hard work and very expensive. Please PRAYERFULLY consider partnering with us in these Kingdom works through your monetary donations. Donations can be made online at Christians In Action. Or, you can mail contributions to the address listed below.I declare that you believe in God, so you speak! (2Cor 4:13)
