“You’re not planting ‘happily-ever-after’ seeds!”
| Recently during our five-week Divine Design for Sex series, I illustrated how the soul works. Our soul is like a wall being formed, and every single decision we make is like a brick getting placed in that wall (our character). Note that godly decisions create concrete, strong, immovable bricks, while ungodly decisions create weak, foam, sponge, and wood bricks. I asked, “Just where your sexual history is concerned, what does your wall look like?” (Yikes!) Typically, there’s an array of a few strong bricks, but many weak bricks. Why does this matter? Because when the storms, tests, and temptations come – and they will come – where will this wall (our character) fail? At the weak bricks, i.e., those ungodly decisions. My point is that every one dreams about, and hopes for, living “happily ever after.” But for so many couples, an honest examination of their wall (decisions) reveals the true character of them and, consequently, that relationship. I pointed to the example wall and asked, “Honestly, what do these weak bricks represent?” Answer: impatience, ignorance, compromise, depreciation, dishonor towards your partner, disobedience to God, and weakness. This is all sin and the fruit of flesh. (Read Gal 5:16-21 and Gal 6:8) Ungodly decisions like this foster cancerous issues of mistrust, insecurities, anxiety, depreciation, guilt, shame, and regret. I asked the group, “Seriously after seeing this illustration, should we really be surprised by how many marriages fail due to an extra-marital affair?!! Just look at their record! It’s literally a reflection of their character, and they’ve already proven they can’t be trusted sexually!” I continued, “Everyone wants ‘happily-ever-after,’ but you’re not planting ‘happily-ever-after’ seeds! Instead, you’re planting seeds of sin and whoredoms!’ It’s kind of like planting corn seeds, but expecting apples. That’s literally insane! Who does that?!!” The Bible says whatever we plant – good or bad – we put into motion the law of sowing and reaping. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal 6:7)God created sxx and the standards for sex. The Bible says the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). A wage is something you earn, so when we sin we literally are earning some form of death. So, we must stop compromising and being impatient. I’ve said it before, “The best sex you’ll ever have is God-approved sex. And, if it’s God-approved, then it’s guilt-free and sin-free!” Strive for Godliness in every area of your life. | Illustrating the Body (cup), Soul (water), & Spirit (marble). Where sexual purity is concerned this person is clean and uncompromised. In the accompanying picture, sexual sins have polluted this person’s Soul. How can this Soul be restored? Answer: the degree to which a person humbles and immerses himself in Christ, is the degree to which he will be transformed and restored. (Read “Do you really like girls?”) The eye-dropper represents the cleansing, restoring presence and power of Christ. But sadly, it also represents the degree to which most Christians are engaged with Christ. This is a snapshot of Christians who want transformation and deliverance, but they rarely attend church and Bible studies, ignore fellowship and accountability with the Saints, their personal Bible study time is feeble, their personal prayer time is anemic and inconsistent, and they’ve accomplished ZERO works for the Lord! Question: Using the eye-dropper approach to restoration, how long would it take to completely dilute and remove all the pollution? To the contrary, if I take an entire pitcher of clean, clear water and pour it into the cup, how long would dilution, deliverance, and restoration take? (Read “He need some milk!” LOL!) |

| Agree with us in Prayer: a. For the Brig/Prison: Pray for all the souls (the leaders, the inmates, the guards, and their families). Over the last 2-3 weeks, I’ve engaged and challenged every prisoner to come out to the classes. Many are coming to learn and others are coming out of curiosity. To God be the glory! Please join us in binding demonic spirits of discord, hate, religion, bitterness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, and pride. And loose a spirit of salvation, discipleship, forgiveness, humility, exposure, healing, deliverance, peace, restoration, unity, and cooperation! b. For continued increase at ZCDC (Churchplant). Pray for the constant “fishing” that must be done, as Camp Schwab is highly transient and we must continually gather replacement folks. (FYI: the beauty in this is that we get to rapidly disciple and equip men and women and launch them from here into the world! (Shabbah! Lol!) Pray for my strength, wisdom, and resources as we gather new souls on Camp Schwab. We are called to gather sheep and convert goats. Pray for mature, Qualified Families and Permanent Personnel to co-labor with us in this northern-most, remote area of Okinawa. c. For Zebulun Worship Team. Our lead singer will be gone for a season due to military obligations. Continue to pray for the releasing of prophetic, powerful praise and worship! d. For our Believers to walk in increased discernment, wisdom, maturity, power, and works, that they are properly discipled, and that they bear much Kingdom fruit, now! e. Pray against retaliatory, unclean spirits from On-Base and Off-Base. Bind up demonic spirits of control, division, envy, strife, competition, lust, and fear. And loose a spirit of unity, peace, love, maturity, discipleship, and faith among Believers. f. | In closing… Saints, we genuinely thank you for your prayers. Your petitions are empowering and effective. There are times when I can feel the prayer covering of the Saints. Honestly, we have the best family and friends. Each of you are near and dear to us, and you have a special place in our hearts. We continue to harvest souls for the glory of God!
